Sandra E. Wilson, P.A.-C, is Board Certified by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants. After graduating with honors from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science Degree, she further pursued her interest in medicine by earning her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida College of Medicine. She joined Emerald Coast Dermatology in 2002.
During the past four years, Sandy has shown her commitment to patient education and skin cancer awareness by conducting skin cancer screenings with local organizations such as Sverdrup, North Okaloosa Gas Company, and the Destin Beach Patrol. In addition, she has given a presentation for the Healthy Woman Seminar Series sponsored by North Okaloosa Medical Center.
As a certified Physician Assistant, Sandy is well-trained to diagnose and manage patients with a variety of skin conditions ranging in scope from psoriasis to skin cancer. In-office procedures include cryotherapy, shave and punch biopies, and removal of superficial skin cancers when appropriate. Physician Assistants work closely with doctors to provide the best in patient care and medical management.
Sandy was born in Omaha, Nebraska and has lived in many places as a child of an Air Force family. Her family has resided in Panama City, Florida since 1992.
