The Mohs Surgery technique preserves as much of the normal skin as possible while providing the highest cure rate of any other treatment currently available for skin cancer.  Conservation of the normal skin allows for less complicated repairs and enhances overall outcomes.

The method of repair of the surgical defect is uniquely considered for each patient to optimize both the cosmetic and functional outcome.  In the past decade, the training of Mohs Surgeons has emphasized surgical reconstruction as well as the Mohs technique of skin cancer removal.

Dr. Adams is pleased to provide examples of some of his surgeries.  Some skin cancers may become more involved than they initally appear.  Function and cosmesis are critical concerns.  All photographs are of actual patients and document actual outcomes.
